    Account Manager

    Job Purpose:  

    The Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and campaigns as assigned. He/she manages the daily workflow and is the primary customer service contact within accounts. Responsibilities include managing the client relationship and all aspects of internal project management, coordinating project details with customers, facilitating quotes,entering work orders, proofing, trafficking of jobs, and billing. The Account Manager works closely with Production and provides sales support as needed.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Act as the account’s primary point of contact,builds and maintains relationships while providing superior customer service.
    • Prepare quotes for estimate, sends to client once approved and follows up accordingly.
    • Coordinate order details and enters jobs into DMM’s order management system. This includes attaching samples, special instructions, data processing/postal requirements, proofing, and outlines the production specs by department.
    • Works closely with other internal departments and outside vendors to monitor trafficking of jobs to ensure efficient and timely processing to meet customers’ expectations.
    • Coordinate job implementations with the Process/Implementation Specialist.
    • Communicate with clients on job processing status, resolving job discrepancies, material shortages, postage requests, proofing and assists in checking materials for accuracy before sign off/release.
    • Generate and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Client Business Rules by customer or campaign.
    • Coordinate all purchase orders for outside services, stock, and list procurement, with Purchasing Coordinator as needed.
    • Monitor inventory and postage levels.
    • Manage and accurately report projections to management.
    • Escalate issues directly with the Client Services Manager as needed.
    • Advise internal servicing issues and troubleshoot issues directly with operations under the guidance of the Client Services Manager and Process/Implementation Specialist.
    • Consult team members and leverage knowledge for continued growth and to improve team effectiveness.
    • Generate client billing and route to accounting within 48 hours of job completion.
    • Provides backup for team members as needed.
    • Miscellaneous duties as assigned to help DMM achieve its corporate goals.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Two years additional education preferred.
    • Five years of strong administrative support experience required.
    • Experience in mailing, printing, and customer service or project management a plus.
    • Excellent computer skills, proven organizational skills and detail oriented.
    • Postal/marketing or direct marketing experiences a preferred.
    • Ability to multi-task and possess strong communication and people.

    Quality Control Manager

    Job Purpose:  

    The Quality Control Manager is directly responsible for assuring consistent quality in all facets of DMM’s business. This includes customer interaction and production by developing policies and procedures that define quality expectations, establish standards and validating processes, and provide documentation while promoting a “Culture of Quality” throughout the business.

    This position is also responsible for insuring products being developed meet the customer and marketing specifications as well as the technical specifications that will be required to produce or source the products. This includes assuring that operations have all required specifications and process requirements needed to meet both customer and product specifications.

    The Quality Manager assures that all products printed and inserted are compliant with all client standards pertaining their work order. This position is a leader in continuous improvement throughout the entire business.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Manage the quality process from initial customer interaction with Client Services/IT Programming through the entire production process to the final product being mailed/shipped.
    • Responsible for assuring that quality standards across all production departments-print, Lettershop, bindery and fulfillment. Manage the internal auditing process of production procedures to gain efficiency.
    • Validates quality processes by reviewing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring the effectiveness of inspection processes; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualifications; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
    • Responsible for defining the process to qualify and validate any new suppliers and the testing and validating of all materials.
    • Primary contact for all regulatory related issues effecting customers. The Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining knowledge base to keep abreast of any changes in regulations that may affect DMM services assures that the management team is kept informed and that the DMM is in compliance with any and all regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure the specifications for newly on-boarded jobs are clearly defined and production understands what the requirements are to meet those specifications.
    • Lead continuous improvement and employee quality training projects as defined by the executive management team.
    • Update job knowledge by researching trends and developments in quality management and regulatory compliance: participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • Enhance current policies surrounding quality initiatives.
    • Other duties as required to help DMM achieve its goals.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor Degree in in Quality Assurance Science or applicable management/manufacturing degree.
    • 5 to 10 years in a process engineering or quality engineering environment.
    • Proficient computer aptitude.
    • Knowledge of postal rates and regulations is desirable.
    • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multi task.
    • Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
    • Good communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
    • Ability to follow directions.
    • Must have a keen eye for quality control.

    Job Function Standards:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to stand up to 10 hours each day.
    • Periodic physical activity requires walking, climbing, bending, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting and stooping.

    General Work Environment:

    • Normal exposure to office environment and warehouse and manufacturing environment.
