DMM announced its partnership as a sponsor of the 2019 Make-A-Wish Trail-blaze Challenge, which was held on September 28, 2019. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization that creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The Trail-blaze Challenge is a 23.4 mile hike where participants tackled the terrain of the Maine Hut Trail – all in one day. As well as being an extraordinary physical test, the real challenge was to raise much-needed funds to grant the wishes of children in Maine with critical illnesses. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities. “This was really important for us to support this organization given their mission and the children they help,” said CEO John V. Cloutier. By supporting the Trail-blaze Challenge, DMM helped Make-A-Wish Maine grant more than 75 wishes this year for children with critical illnesses.
